“As an alumnus, being a part of Department of English UM feels like holding a secret pass to the legendary anywhere-door. I was fortified with integrated knowledge and insights pertaining to English literature. They are well-delivered in broad scopes of courses under a period of lectures from highly qualified lecturers. The department offers a wide range of courses that are not conventionally textual-based. They go beyond cross-cultural understandings restricted to no constraints.
Department of English further reinforces students with facilities ranging from hundreds of best-selected books and credible references, language proficiency improvement materials, to a number of various educative yet enjoyable activities in English Self Access Center (ESAC).Last but not least, Department of English provisions mentorship in a highly dedicated manner and even lets the door wide-open for opportunities and genuine breakthrough to nurture, just like back then when I chose the road not taken, by writing my literary work creation-based thesis. Simply put, those are a unity of integral aspects in leading future alumnae to open thousands of brand new gates for chances and to cope with inconceivable challenges ahead.”
